Situated about half a mile from the city centre, on the costaa road. Builsing started in 1845 and was completed in 1861. It functioned as a prison for both male and female prisoners until 1922 when femles were transferred to cardiff prison.
One Vision are currently working with Swansea Prison to install the unit used to control the TV's in the prison. The TVs are locked to one channelper tv so the channels cant be changed unless he module inside the unit has been changed.
