The flats are part of the Maelfa Regeneration Scheme, a multi-million pound project to transform the area into a new, vibrant heart for the Llanederyn community. Ty Maelfa, the high rise residential block of 45 flats, has been undergoing exensive external refurbishment. The works began in November 2017 and most elemens will be completed by the end of May 2019. Some minor external works will be finished off in early July.
One vision worked with CMBE to change the TV sytems at Maelfa High Rise, Cardiff over to a more updated version. When the refurbishment was taking place the building was still in use as a residence so when installing the new system we had to install it along side the current one and then remove the old system. We installed seperate switches for sky Q because the standard SMATV 5 wire distribution systems wouldn't have been able to supply both, sky HD and Sky Q+.
